Last Question about arrows

I run an Easton Carbon Injexion 330 at 27" with a 4" wrap, 3 Blazer vanes, and a 100 grain head. Weighs right at 420gr with 11% FOC. I shoot this out of a 27/70 Hoyt CS Turbo ZT. Tunes and shoots great.

I think this is good advice here. Good arrow and setup

I kind of feel like I'm almost at a disadvantage with such a short draw length
There's nothing saying you have to cut your arrows as short as possible. Like others said you can leave them long. 27 inches is at least 1.5 inches longer than you need, but softens up the spine a bit to allow you a heavier arrow.
