I was lucky to draw one of the random draw tags this year for marble mountain but with the McCacsh fire it has closed down a large portion of the marbles through the season including the area I was going to hunt. Looking for some help/recommendations for good areas to hunt outside the closure zone. Current closures https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/map/7757/0/120171

Any help on areas to go is much appreciated. Thanks!

That whole area is closed until 2022 by the FS. It all part of the Dixie fire . May want to check to be sure.

I’ve got a few guys up there assigned the fires in supervision roles. I’ll ask them if they have any good Intel. They are hunters. I’ll pm you if I can find anything out. Good luck. Great tag.
