Bought my points (first year) and have a PDF of my receipt but I didn't receive an email confirmation and I don't show up in WY's search when I try to check points. Surprised there was no email and concerned I screwed up.

I expect there is a delay but asking from folks with experience. How long before points show up? Buying points was so much easier than AZ but with AZ I can log in and see points easily but there is a delay in posting, sometimes a long delay.

Is WY the same long lag? Is there a general account login that I'm missing on the website?

Mine aren't showing up either. Took a little bit for my tags to show up too. It'll pop up. If you have any concerns or they don't pop up in a few days, they're pretty responsive when you call.

It takes awhile. Longer than you’d think. You’ll be fine.

I bought bunch of super tag tix this year, bought pref points for everything. I have never received any email confirmations, but I can log into my acct and see them.

If you ever have any concerns, call the Wyo Dept of Fish/Game. Their customer service is outstanding. As was mentioned above, it does take a while for points to show up but customer service will tell you what is "pending." Of all the western states, Wyoming for me, is far and away the most pleasant to deal with. In all the years hunting their and needing questions answered, I have never had a bad experience.

The website was far easier than any of the other states I've dealt with (AZ, UT, and CO). I'll call if they don't post in a couple weeks.

806Bowhunter I couldn’t agree more. They are so pleasant and helpful. You always get the answer you need and it’s easy to understand. Nothing like Montana “Hold on I’ll see if I can find someone who knows. Oh he’s not available right now. It’s on the website” Eyeroll!

Wyoming game checks are the same way. They really appreciate you choosing their state to hunt and are happy to see you punch your tag. Other states look for a reason to ruin your day. I love everything about Wyoming. The hunting and the people.
