Lapua .223 brass

Just when I was thinking the starline was great brass I saw the posts about the case separation. Nearly all of mine have the ring around them but we’re holding up fine until today. This case was on its first firing, I sectioned some of my other ones to see what they looked like inside and all the ones I did were fine so I guess from here on out it’s a gamble on whether or not they hold together. I have a mixture of 5.56 and 223 all were purchased from late 2023 until late 2024

Should be able to feel that separation with a bent paperclip without having to section the case. Easier to visually see with the case cut though.

Tried that and it did feel like a slight grab but it was really hard to tell so I sectioned some. After opening them up there was no signs of problems.

I have my doubts… I’m sure I have more than they want to replace. I will try them and see what they say though.
