Lapua .223 brass

Does their .223 brass always come in a lame cardboard box? Where’s the plastic box like other Lapua brass.

My last few orders of 6.5 brass came in the cardboard boxes. It's honestly pretty nice packaging. The plastic boxes didn't serve much of a purpose for me beyond shipping.

Agreed - loose in the blue box seemed to defeat the purpose. Case mouths seemed to be dinged up a bit. I'd prefer the newer packaging.

Exercised a little restraint - saw some in stock at Mile High the other day and almost picked up 500. Looked around my reloading room and I have ~ 900 pieces of Lake City just sitting there begging to be used. I do like Lapua brass, but don't care to lose cases while varminting, so I'm going to use up the Lake City brass for now.

New lapua now comes in the cardboard packaging. The 223 is sparse over here in The UK and circa $120 most places if you can get it now

A few of us are getting good results with GGG once fired brass sub .5moa through my Tikka with 75gr eldm. Just needs the primer crimp swaging first
