Does Kuiu have a pant that is equivalent to the Sitka Timberline? If so which one? Thank you.

Kuiu has nothing with knee pad pockets that I know of, seems to me that Timberlines are somewhat unique.

This. I wouldn’t buy Kuiu pants over Sitka pants at all and the Timberline especially! What don’t you like about Sitka.

Buy the Kuiu Talus and don't look back. Tried the Timberline before I bought the Talus, and was not impressed. Talus knee pads aren't removeable, but they are unbelievably comfortable and wouldn't even dream of not having them. The other big feature that the Talus has is hip vents. Also waterproof in the same areas as the Timberline.

The Kuiu Talus pants are pretty similar in concept to the Timberline. I like the Talus a lot. The hip vents are great, the knee pads are hardly noticeable when hiking, and they seem to be waterproof in the places they claim to be (seat and lower legs). They do run pretty slim, but that hasn't been an issue for me

Never tried the talus, so take that with a grain of salt, but the closest things I’ve felt to a timberline are the stone glacier de-whatever-the-hell. You can put the Sitka knee pads inside them, plus you get the hip vents which are the TL biggest downfall, imo. And, you don’t have to deal with the funky ass kuiu pant sizing. When my TLs wear out that’s exactly what I’ll be doing.

The SG boys were BIG fans of the TLs and set out to improve upon that exact pant when making theirs.

Just got the Talus pants. Havent worn them in the field yet, but they seem pretty awesome in the house. Hopefully I will have some miles in them soon, and will test them out.
