Has anyone used this yet in the field? I ordered one over the weekend and seems like a no brainer for people not needing the insulation of the regular Proximity. I really hope a matching pant is in the future. I know there's plenty of us out there like me, think this is a perfect option. Any one with a review?

I picked one up. Weight, sound, fit is all in line with the Sitka Stratus jacket. It's dang near identical except for the camo obviously and the sleeves use velcro cuffs vs. stretch cuffs. I have one in large New without tags for sale in the classifieds if someone wants to grab it. I like it a lot, but the sleeves just arent' long enough for my liking. I'm 6'2.5" and have long arms.

I really disliked the way the Stratus fit me. Im pretty pleased with this jacket. I got an XL. It seems to run small but I did upsize to layer. I'm glad I did. Even with me upsizing I feel it fits great even with out layers. I am the opposite and have shorter arms. I don't think I could go a size down though.

How warm do you gents think it would be (no access to a stratus) ??. I have a fanatic jacket but need one for temps not at that level yet and cant decide between the LT vs the insulated version .

cheers

I just left the Kuiu store an hour ago specifically to look at this jacket. It runs more true to size for me. An XL fit me just right where other jackets fit snug in XL for me.

One thing to note, I was told they are phasing out their whitetail line of clothing which will include the Proximity line. That’s probably why a few items are in the outlet store.

Why would they create the LT Proximity Jacket if they are eventually phasing the Proximity out? That makes no sense to me. I was also hoping a matching pant would be in the future but I guess not.

The things I see from the whitetail line are the pattern that don’t sale well like vias most deer hunters are not wearing that in the deer woods. I’d be shocked if they just released this stuff just to kill it but who knows. I do know I have not seen there more popular patterns in the outlet other then the wind pro shirt that don’t block wind

They could just start offering certain patterns and not every pattern.

I'd be shocked if that is the case. They are adding items to the whitetail specific line all the time. They just added a whitetail dedicated pack, the Haven line and the LT Jacket among other items.

Looking at picking the lt jacket up. What’s your thoughts on it?

I haven't used it yet. I'm hoping I can Sunday evening or Monday evening. Finally got this cool front come in. I work weekends so just hoping to use it as soon as possible. Wish I could help. Once I use it though, I will update.

I've had it out twice and like it quite a bit . Like that the pockets are as high as they are too . Pretty darn quite too .
Obviously it’s person dependent but what temps would you think it works for and did you have any wind? Debating if it will be fine into mid 30s or go with the reg proximity.

Awesome thanks I’m trying to decide for an archery jacket to wear down to mid 30s and thinking this might be perfect but haven’t seen a ton of real life reviews

The season kind of just started and the weather has been pretty iffy. Hopefully we'll get some reviews soon. The jacket is really nice. The only thing I wish they had on it were vents. Other than that A+ with no field use yet. I think it should be fine in the 30-40 range. Especially with a good base and even a mid. This will depend on the person. Some people get colder than others. I am expecting it to be used in that range with a good base and a mid layer. It should be able to. I don't see why not. If it's in the 30s for me hunting, I will have the Merino 200. 275 strongfleece. Then this jacket. At least I'm hoping this would be sufficient. In my mind it should be. If not, I do have thicker/warmer bases to switch too.

I had it down to about 28 (I'm Canadian so have to convert lol) . Had on a shirt , peloton 240 and the proximity LT . There was enough wind to have my tree sway . I plan on getting a better baselayer or a warmer hoody than the peloton 240 so I am a tad bit warmer but it could also have been i foolishly worked up a sweat hiking up and down hills to get to my stand . I should slow down lol . I'd buy it again fwiw but i have a fanatic jacket for when it gets much colder . I purchased the LT to cover the need before the fanatic comes out .
cheers

Finally got to use the LT this morning. 30 degrees in Florida. I had on. 200 merino, magellan level 3 base layer, 275 strongfleece, and then the LT Proximity. Jacket did what it needed to do and then some. I probably didn't need the magellan base layer but I was more than comfortable for sure. I only sat 1.5 hours due to me shooting a deer. I'm sure I could have sat for many hours. I bet the jacket could be worn at 50 degrees with just a base. But no need to try as I have my other gear for that. Pockets are huge, kind of too big and Not very warm in my opinion but a little bit helps. I know it's not bent to be worn in top the stand, but i did. I was a little warm, pit zips or some type of venting would have been awesome. Would not recommend dragging a deer in the jacket lol. All in all, I'm satisfied at the 30% discounted price i paid. I really really hope they make a pant. I would be a buyer.
