Kuiu harness?

I've owned the FHF, S4, badlands, and kuiu. I have not used the Alaskan guide but hear great things.

I liked the protection the FHF offered but it was too bulky and loud for my bowhunting.

I really like the kuiu. It seems to work well for me. I don't think te strap thing is an issue. Cinch it tighter and it won't slide down. I like that it is quiet and sleek.

This ^^^ I had the Sitka for 3 years (works like the Badlands), and it's equally effective. I just wanted something lighter.

I just put about 20 miles on my new kuiu harness this past week and loved it. No complaints at all, but I wasn't glassing off of a tripod. I can see how if you were glassing off a tripod and moving around a lot it could get annoying if the straps keep falling behind your shoulders. I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but a simple solution would be if the buckles on one side were reversed so on the strap coming over one shoulder you had a male buckle and the wrap coming over the other shoulder had a female buckle. That way when you take the bins off you can snap the strap ends together in front of your neck and not lose them down your back. If I felt confident undoing the sewing on one harness end strap, swapping buckles and resewing it I think I would try it. Anyone else try this?

Glad its working for some of you guys. It is quality stuff. I am just in the camp that thinks that they could be perfect for everyone with a tiny improvement.

Question: What would the downside be of them producing the harness with a strap that goes from the shoulder to the top of the pouch?

There would not be a downside.

Squeeks, the crooked horn sidekick rangefinder holder works well for me and solves the issue you mention with the kuiu harness. No sewing required.
I agree that kuiu improve the harness with the correction u suggest.

I have been looking to try the Kuiu but I cant seem to put down my Horn Hunter Bino Hub. I really like the capabilities of the case. I did however modify the straps to better suite my back.
