How would you say it compares to the Tikka stock?

I’m one of those odd ones that actually likes the Tikka stock with minor modifications.

This is kind of where I am. Factory stock with vertical grip and cheek riser have worked well. I'll get a RokStok when they are available again but was interested in the Echo as an alternative for rifles I don't hunt with much.

Here’s mine, 20” 6.5prc, Ultra 7, 2.5-10 NXS, 9lbs 9oz. I flipped the recoil pad and that helped with the recoil management for me. Not that it was bad before but can definitely notice it’s easier to stay on target after shot.

Well, I can tell you my experience. I replaced a factory T3 lite adjustable stock on my superlite 308 with the Echo and found the exact opposite as Form. Noticeable reduction in both recoil and vibration, but I suspect his baseline stock might be different than mine. It does weigh a fair amount more than my factory adj stock and has a far softer pad, which I think most of the change was from that I saw.

That rattling/vibration is felt. The 3x Bravo’s I have here are all functionally dead at the shot- there is nothing noticed good or bad. This Echo- that sound you hear in the video is felt in your face. It’s not pleasant at all.

It’s fine, and I would rather shoot with an Echo than the factory stock (which is fine as well), but in comparison to the Bravo and especially the ROKStok, the Echo is definitely last place.

I can say the echo on a .223 trainer is well worth the low price point for me personally.

Only 100 rounds shot with a suppressed 6 CM. Haven’t noticed any vibration. Is very accurate. The flex in the forend bugs me, but no accuracy issues

I’m sure the .223 makes it feel like the stock is better than it is just because of the low recoil

I have several Bravos and an Echo at home, as well as a few other, similar stocks from different manufacturers. I'll give them all a solid bunch of raps next time I have a chance to see what's up.

Just a few days ago I was shooting a Bravo, an Echo and a Browning MAX LR - which is also a similar plastic stock with adjustable comb - SXS, and I didn't notice any deficiencies with the Echo; however, it was three sufficiently different cartridges: 223 in a Bravo, 6.5 PRC in the Echo, and 6.5 CM in the Browning. When I get a chance I'll swap some like chambered Tikka actions to get more relevant comparisons.

I have a couple hundred 6.5 PRC rounds downrage in the relatively new Echo. No complaints so far and shooting it well, but now interested to see how that same rig feels in a Bravo.

I shot mine a good bit Saturday after a local match. It’s a 308 Roughtech I had loaded up with 168’s.Hornady Black. That rifle loves that ammo. I didn’t notice any vibration, but the first shot was a reminder I wasn’t shooting my .223 match gun. The Echo was easy to control shooting off a barricade. If I could find a reliable 10 round mag that fit, I would shoot a match with it.

I run each of them. I wouldn't really say they're comparable products, other than they're both handles for rifles. Weight is the biggest difference, but adjustability and accessory availability on the KRG, and others of the ilk, puts them in a bit of a different class from the VG, IMO.

I've found the VG's to be great for rigs on which weight is the overriding concern; otherwise, I find the KRG's to be a better set up for higher volume and/or longer range rigs. Really comes down to your intended use profile, your caliber choice, and your ability to shoot LW rigs well. For me, unless the hikes are really long and/or the hills are really steep, I don't mind the weight penalty of the KRG's and other heavier stocks.

I also like the factory stock. I’ve given away an Echo & have another sitting in the gun room with no home, and swapped back to the factory stock. If you guys like the factory stock you likely won’t end up favoring the Echo.

I felt the “harsh” recoil characteristics but have until now just assumed the recoil pad was garbage. Had I stuck with the stock I’d have swapped it for sure.

Of all the stocks I’ve tried my favorites have been the factory stock & Rokstok. I’m about to order an uninletted VG to fix the trigger reach bc I hate the thought of building up the grip area. That would be an awesome showdown.

Working for the .223 trainer. I am kind of partial to the feel of a carbon fiber stock but it’s serving its purpose of not dumping a bunch of money into it. Lol
