So my buddy and I returned about 9 days ago from an awesome hunt on the south end of Kodiak
Many thanks to bowuntr and a few other people for the great info that made this hunt such an awesome experience.
I'd like to say that all the businesses we dealt with throughout the trip were great and I'd recommend all of them to anyone. They were : Alaska Airlines, A Downtown B&B (Kodiak), Andrew Airways (Kodiak), and Kodiak Kamps rentals.
Here are some pictures from the hunt to tell the story cause I am realllyyy slow at typing!

It was an amazing trip and we learned a lot.
Thanks AK!
We are planning a return trip in 2017, but will most likely be chasing moose.

Wow! Well that was a total bust and waste of time! I tried posting url from Google pics. They all showed up in the previews and right after on the computer but won't show now. I'll try to figure out how to fix. Sorry all!

How is that late September caribou meat, is it not some of the best stuff you've ever had? Kidding of course, I read your post on the AOD. Actually, I was very surprised to hear that they went into the rut so early.

September rutting caribou......I'm trying to figure out what to do with it! I'm thinking about green Chile breakfast sausage. Hopefully that will make it palatable! I'm willing to share any info I have.

Oh yeah my buddy is the one on AOD. Yes searching for a cure for the meat. Mine was fun to watch before I shot him he was running all over chasing everything with his tongue hanging out. Just like a big bull elk!
