Kimber vs Tikka???

Many thanks for all the answers and advice. My main concern was if I was wasting the extra money for the Kimber or whether it was worth it. I will probably go that route. As far as the caliber, I was just wanting to go with a short action for weight savings and I reload so price/availability of ammo is mute. I also would like to be able to stretch it out past 300 for target/western hunting. I already have a .270 that's great, but wanted something with "a little more ass" for the I can reach out that much farther factor and a little more knock down power. Elk would be the end result for the rifle but may replace the .270 for near deer and song dogs as well. Just thought the 325 might carry a little better than the 300 but I have zero experience with either.
