Kimber Ascent 84L 280 ai internal mag replacement

my kimber ascent 280ai 84L (2015 i believe) i was cleaning and managed to damage the internal mag well accidentally (not the spring the metal mag well holder) been trying to bend it back but unsuccessfully- bullets don't want to feed or gun doesn’t want to go back together due to improper alignment. i bent the mag well pretty good.

is there anywherre (i cant find any) that sells the replacement?? i plan to call kimber monday morning but if midway or somewhere carries the mag well would rather just order then go through kimber customer service.

gun was a wedding gift - so received it new but my groomsman can’t remember who actually purchased the riffle - kimber only honors original ownership so i am not eager to find out how well they work with “second” owners for replacement parts. dont mind spending the $$$ just dont want the hassle.

I called Kimber and ordered an internal box mag (the box, spring, and follower). It was super easy, no serial required, around $40, and shipped out same day.

Both times I’ve called kimber it has been good.

They have good customer service. They have always got back to me with a day or 2 (email)
