Kifaru Megatarp or Seekoutside Lil bugout?

hmm, this setup has been on my shortlist but condensation issues hadnt crossed my mind...

You really get condensation issues with any single wall type shelter. Obviously the bigger the shelter the less likely you'll have condensation. In Colorado it got down to the high teens and in our base+tarp connector+base setup with two guys we had ZERO condensation. This was also at 10.5k' in elevation and low humidity. Last weekend I was at 350' in elevation and a high humidity type area. As soon as I set up my shelter I noticed frost already gathering on the inside walls because of the humidity of the area+cold temps.

It's not a brand specific problem that's why tents have rain flys and floorless shelters are sold with liners.

You can vent the top by unzipping the zipper a bit from the top. This works better with the 3 piece vestibule than the base / base configuration. Personally, in the summer I love the base / 3 part combo for 2 people. I actually leave the dual doors open, for terrific ventilation, and just zip them if weather comes in. It's very livable, and if sleeping floor less there is no need to crawl over someone to get out. With a nest, you need to be cozy with your roommate, but it does provide full on double wall 4 season style protection.

I do believe we are a sponsor now, so if you have questions, feel free to reach out
