Kifaru Mega Tarp Question

Does anyone know the sq for the floor area of the Mega Tarp? I am trying to compare it to the Mountain Smith LT which has 54 Sq feet of floor space. Also has anyone heard more of the release date and pricing for the new Mega Tarps?

The Mega Tarp is 11'4" x 5'6" = 63 sq ft. With the annex it is 13 x 5'6"

There is no release date for any new tarp design. The military has placed several large order and that has impacted some of our production time.

Thanks Joe. Bummed about the set back on the Mega Tarp but I can understand why.

I am. They only issued me the heavy sleep "system" though. No tent or tarp. Certainly not a kifaru.

Careful what you wish for ! The duty that goes with the best gear is usually not a gravy assignment. Of course you may be one of the guys who wants the really hard missions.
