I was just messing around with the height I attached the CP at, coulda been a bit higher.

Also later in the hike i hooked up the straps that run from the top of the CP to the top of the frame and that seemed to work better

That's great, you will remember these times forever. My wife had our 6mo old son on her back when she stalked and shot a javi. We still talk about that as one of our favorite hunts.

We got a Kelty kid carrier and while being pretty good...it's still NOT a Kifaru....lol...
