Thank you. It's great seeing him take to the outdoors. He gets mad that I won't let him shoot animals yet with his 22. He is 6 now so it won't be too much longer. Over a year ago I met a great girl. She had two boys and we have since had another boy. So I'll have 4 boys to take into the woods and share the outdoors with. It was an amazing opputunity to be just my son and I for awhile as I took him places I probably wouldn't have. It's also nice getting some time in the woods alone again also though I feel fortunate to have both expierences again. So far the two oldest like elk camp in the big wall tent. Although I think I need a tipi now for weekend overnighters though.
First time out deer hunting sort of. OK it was more of a walk through the woods where he sounded like a herd of squirrels and found particular enjoyment in hitting trees with sticks but I brought my bow just in case so I'm calling it hunting.
I try to expose my boys to as much of the outdoors as possible and they love it. My youngest absolute loves scouting with me, so much so that he finds it so relaxing that he takes a nap about an hr into our hike each time
First turkey (he shot it with his bow at seven yards).
First muskie.
Windchill was -27 when I shot this little doe on the last day of the season. It's tougher to get my little girl to come out with us, so I have more outdoor pics of my son than I have of her.
