Started looking for some pictures to add to the thread, and was pleasantly surprised at how many pictures I have to choose from.

Having my son has completely changed my perspective on what a good day in nature really is. We don't log the miles we used to but still get out with him on our backs and it makes it that much more rewarding. Made a "diaper stop" on our way up to the cabin yesterday, I took the dog out to jump shoot a few ducks out of the tules and when my son heard the shots he told my wife "duck" and started quacking. He gets it and he's just 21 months old.

I've raised my son all on my own since he was two so I ended up bringing him along on many adventures out of necessity and to be honest I'm so thankful that I got to share all these expierences with him. I've had him as far back as 7 miles in the wilderness areas on backpack trips since he was 3 and he's been out hunting everything from deer and elk to ducks and geese.

These two are my favorite though. It was cool just going through all the photos of us looking for some to post

Good, actually GREAT, on you man. I know how hard it is raising kids even with sharing the responsibility, to think of doing it solely on my own seems overwhelming, at least to me it does anyway. I commend you sir for getting out there and getting it done with your child. Thanks for passing along the hunting tradition, I'm sure if your son has not already thanked you, he will in time.
