i have a couple antelope tags around gillette in october and my wife has decided she is gonna go with me this year. she wont be hunting and is not about outdoors stuff. we are gonna be staying in a hotel in gillette now that she is going. so, is there any great restaraunts, micro breweries, etc that i should take her to after my hunts so we both have a good time. Im sure ive been thru the area but never spent much time there.

This place, Big Lost Meadery, is pretty nice and different. The owner is a really nice guy, unless the one I know sold it.
Rib and Chop is close also for dinner and is usually good. I remember the Gillette one being better than the Cheyenne one.

I definitely wanna see you cnelk. we can meet where ever. i will check out the others. thanks guys. this should be interesting with the wife there. she is not a outdoors person.

I cant wait to go. hoping i dont fall in love with it.
any good outdoor stores i should go to, or tourist things to take her to

You have to let us know how the trip goes (hunt, of course), but really the last part of your post just begs for an update to the RS hive.

we have been married 33 years and shes been on a handful of hunts, less than 5, and im pretty sure those were all when we were dating/just married. shes a sit on the beach person. i couldnt find anyone to go with me this year and we were gonna be out of town together so she decided to ride on out with me. i am going to hunt and have a great time, but i wanna make sure we do some stuff together to. we are going thru rapid city etc on the way out. i have done pretty much everything out there so not much to do on the tourist front esc that time of year, but im looking for local good food and drink areas and maybe something that would interest her.
