Kids Bow?

We purchased a Hoyt Ruckus for our son when he was 9 and he has gotten a ton of use out of it. There may be better youth bows out there now, I haven't looked into it, but the Ruckus has been a very good bow for him.

My 8y has been shooting an infinte edge for 2 years . Use shoots a few times a week in a joad class. Its been good for us

Mission Menace. My boy has had it 5 years, I guess, and it just keeps growing with him. Adjustable draw length is handy ;-)

I got my daughter a Diamond Atomic last year when she turned 7. She loves it! I read that a lot of people started their kids using fingers. I bought her a release and she learned super quick. Really good bow with lots of adjust ability.

x2 for the Diamond Atomic especially if your son is small in stature. My son is 5 and not very big. He and I liked the ruckus or the Ignite, but it was just too much bow for him. Most all bows listed above are easy to set-up and to adjust, but I was able to make major adjustments without a press which was a plus for me.

I've been looking also. My oldest daughter is 8 and ready to start shooting a decent bow. I wanted one with a back wall or draw stop like a normal bow. Many kids bows don't have this, and could get frustrating for the kid. I belive I have narrowed it down to the Hoyt Rucus also. Very nice bow. The Diamond Infinite Edge is solid also. Take your kid to a bow shop and shoot as many as you can.
