Any of you guys have one of those e-bikes for your kids? Such as the stacyc? We’ve got a 5 year old birthday coming up and looks like something he’d love ripping around on. They aren’t cheap so just wanted to see if anyone had any first hand experience

Stacyc is good- my boy and now 5yr old girl both like it. They are fast enough to have a good time one. The older boy wants an Oset or similar now. The cheaper Mx looking electric bikes are also popular- they don’t have as much acceleration/ torque, but seem to have a higher top speed.

Sweet, he will be getting a gas bike here before long just thought it might be an easier intro.

Because their fat parents feed them shit food 🤷‍♂️
And hand them a phone or tablet to entertain them cause they're too lazy themselves to do anything stimulating/physical. Also they don't make them exercise (E-bike, E-scooter, etc)

E bikes for kids are awesome. It’s amazing where I’ve taken my kids on electric and gas powered bikes places they’d never be able to get to walking or pedaling. Kids outside is what I like to see.

A 5 year old? Let him pedal with his own will power and strength. I’m sure it would be fun but a kid needs to be a kid. I just think that we as parents have a tendency to get things for our kids way too early. It’s good to let them build up to things and wait for more privileges as they grow but I’m old school.

My son had a stacyc when he was about that age. It actually made him better at riding a regular bike. He had tons of crashes on it due to the torque and always trying to do wheelies. Helped him learn to ride a dirt bike too.
