I have two tiny people 50 and 60# respectively with tiny little narrow faces. I'd like to get em each a pair of 8x or 10x that are decent. Hopefully someone has a pair or two that their own tiny people outgrew?? Open to suggestions on where I might be able to actually just buy some non sucky ones? Willing to pay money or trade for walleye or salmon gear or some such.

I’ve got a set of Vortex Viper HD 10x42 that I bought for my boy to use. He lost interest and they have been sitting on the shelf. Pm me if you’re interested.

Thanks guys. I guess I forgot to mention that my #1 concern is the gap between the two objectives. I haven't measured but I reckon there's only 1" or so between their little eyes so maybe 2" between their pupils?? So I'm trying to get binos that are decent but will work for them physically.

My six year old uses my vortex diamondbacks. With them closed all the way it sounds like they are just right for her. I don't believe she's a big headed kid either.

I would try to find some 6x or maybe 8x. My 5 year old (big for his age) has trouble stabilizing the binos at 10x. I can adjust the eye cups and the IP enough to fit, but he can't manage to be still in a way to use them at all effectively.

You can check out my Steiner Predator 10x 28 that are listed on this forum or PM me. I also have a very narrow interpupillary distance.

Highly recommend checking out Oberwerk. They have a nice 6.5x32 porro that I bought for my nieces. They don't suck and on the contrary, are surprisingly good. I use them too.

6.5x32 is great for kids. Steady, wide field of view helps them actually see the animals you are trying to point out to them.

7x35 is another good one. But it seems manufacturers have gone away from this configuration. You may be forced to buy used for this setup.

I have the vortex 6.5x32 raptor, which is a porro prism. My kid used it since he was 5. I think it works well. I just pushed the barrels together all the way. I measured from center to center of the ocular lenses. It was just under 2 inches. I plan on keeping mine, but recommend them for kids.

The optics are surprisingly good. One downside is that the front bridge is not threaded. Also, being a porro, they don't fit the universal tray style bino adaptors very well.

I have these in 6.5x32 and they’re amazing for the money. I typically use Meopta and Swaro glass so I’m used to nice optics. The pupillary distance gets down to 50 mm. My 5 year old daughter uses them, so I won’t be selling them. I would try to find the 6.5x if they still make them. These are the closest I could find. Leupold also used to make a similar Yosemite model 6x, but it looks like those also were discontinued.
