Interesting, I never had an issue.

Mine came in today after getting lost in the mail for a couple of days. Can’t comment on the warmth since it 85 here, but the fit is pretty spot on for layering underneath. Fit is a bit boxy, and even though I’ve seen comments about the fit being small, I feel like it’s on the larger side personally.

How does this compare to an uncompahgre in warmth, features, durability, etc?

Probably similar. The granola backpacking nerds like the Toray FullRange (3defx) insulation better than anything else I've seen for a while. I have the Patagonia Nano Air which is basically the same thing as the Kenai and I have ripped or burned holes in the face fabric in a few places and just throw on some Tenacious Tape and it's fine. The insulation itself will lose loft over time, especially if you're compressing the crap out of it stuffing it in a pack, but I think that is universal to synthetic insulations. I've had my Patagonia for 10 years and just bought this Kenai but it's starting to look like I'm a bum.
