Good subject, let’s not ruin it with poor attitudes.
@Pikespeak you’re not wrong to be concerned but this problem isn’t as bad as it was in the past. Either way taking multiple ideas is best, minimizing what you take, don’t advertise (including any pro hunting or gun stickers), add security beyond a topper and spread things out between the cab, bed, under the hood.

Why?

It’s just what I have right now, I’ve had the truck for 11 years. Whether I should get a new truck now is a whole different question. With the kid, job, move, there’s a lot going on.

It’s a F150 with crewcab, to get a bigger bed I’d be looking at a 250 and Im not sure I can justify that. Towing a future travel trailer is a thought but definitely not a guarantee.
