Jumping ship on quilts?

I jumped after freezing my ass off in MT in 12* temps, I roll around a lot and maybe shoulda used some duct tape to secure it, kept waking up uncovered.... but that's just me

Your quilt doesn't have anything on it to help secure it? Mine has a series of small loops on the sides, I use some really thin shock cord with an adjustable knot to keep it around the pad. Snug as a bug once i got that fixed. Before that I had the same issue.

i made a synthetic quilt/blanket and it is awesome, much better than a bag IMO regardless of weather, super comfortable, and versatile
