Yeah.. re: JVB.. Not sure, but I *think*??? he's trying to settle into his own form of a Ron Spomer-inspired cadence to his on-air/recorded stuff, and as you eluded to... yeah... it does sound quite odd that he'd willfully elect to speak that slow and dulled-down.

In general for content you'd make intended for digestion by other folks, typically in general you DO want to go slower than you'd talk naturally. But not THAT damn much Sheesh!

That makes sense... it's just hard to stomach from time to time.

Is it going to be a competition on who can steal young women’s deer the best? I’m sure Joeseph will win that. Also the dudes a fudd when it comes to long range hunting. Has no where near the experience of actual long range that form has. What happened in Utah this last season proves that.

@ProAlpine the only people I have ever heard speak remotely like JVB are some Mormon concrete guys from Utah. Zero sense of humor in that crew... not that you could get enough words out of them for many jokes to begin with.

Does anyone know Aram Von Benedikt? He apparently writes for Outdoor Life. It appears that while hunting in Utah on a General Season rifle hunt he decided to steal a buck that was shot by another hunter and was actively getting tracked.

It's all over the socials.

He has a rebuttal story, but it's not really helping his situation considering he couldn't even loosely identify that his target buck had a radio collar on.

The whole thing is shady.
