Maybe this should be in the DIY thread but actually it needs exposure. I haven't put much thought into this (like most of my rants) but I think someone should be able to come up with a solution to this. Has anyone figured out a way to put a lid on a Jetboil (SOL specifically) and have it be waterproof? I didn't know if they made one that didn't have any holes in it that you could somehow secure it and if someone had a method of using wire like an old Mason jar where a few mounts were spot-welded on the side to hook to. It would be best served for hunters/hikers wanting to prepare their chow ahead of time (like right before hiking back to camp at night) and have their meal ready and waiting. This would also be better for self-dehydrated food where you didn't have to carry in a seperate container for this process. I bet it has been thought of but there are issues with safety (heating/altitude) and vacuum (cooling off) but if it had a pressure relief valve it could work. What say you?
