One of my main hunting partners and I have enough points to draw H next year (2025) and have always hunted wilderness areas in WA, ID, and MT. We've scouted the area during the summer and would prefer to hunt in the wilderness, but we're DIY'ers through and through. The hunt is as much about seeing new country and remote places as it is about killing bucks.
I've made some great friends on hunting forums over the years (including the buddy I'll be drawing WY with!) so wanted to put out some feelers in case there are any WY guys that hunt H and F that could use a couple committed young guys who know their way around the mountains. We of course would be more than happy to return the favor and invite you to hunt some of our favorite Montana and Idaho areas. We're not looking for spots, literally just a buddy to join the crew on WY hunts as we have our own plans basically laid out.
We hunt hard, hike in the dark, don't turn back when things are tough, etc. Reach out if you want to chat!
