Does anybody have a good flyfish guide recommendation for Islamorada area? We'll be there the first weekend in November and I'd like to tick off a few fish on the saltwater list.
I fished with Barry Hoffman a few years back. He went DEEP into the back country and we landed several snook, reds and other stuff. Some guides will stay within a few miles of the ramp which is annoying. He was also a pretty cool guy and taught me some new things on the poling skiff.
Don’t know about that - but went out offshore with “The Floridian” charter boat there and caught lotsa fish. Grouper was in season and that was fun pulling one of those big ones out.
Decent tarpon fishing there too depending on when you are going.
