Thanks for the input everyone. I’m going to order some eldm rounds. I’ve got some TMK projectiles and varget I can load up and get some comparison data shooting them over the chrono

the TMK is also a great killing bullet and would react similar to the eldm. If the TMK shoots good out of your rifle, I wouldn’t hesitate to use it on a bear.

the bear I killed last spring was with a 130 TMK out of a 6.5 creedmoor.

They also make a 155 match that may be worth trying also.

I love Barnes bullets. I’ve always been happy with the performance on animals. 3 of us antelope hunted a few years ago and my two buddies both shot theirs with 300win mags and Hornady eld bullets. Neither one exited. To me that’s not acceptable on a smaller animal like an antelope. I shot mine with an 18” 308 with 130gr ttsx at a hard quartering to. I hit him on the point of the shoulder and it exited right in front of the back leg on the opposite side. He never moved from that spot.
