Your nocking point is relative to YOUR personal shooting style…nocking point is a tiller adjustment…your grip pressure adjusts tiller, your finger pressure adjusts tiller…depends on you… I shoot an ILF wood handle off the shelf, my tiller is 1/8” negative, my nocking point (bottom of top nocking set, top side of arrow) is always 3/8”…anything more than that and I adjust my tiller bolts in VERY small increments.
If you have a 1” nock point and you get good flight with your (non adjustable tiller) bow… then leave it there and hammer down…
If it bothers you then ILF rabbit hole you go, figure out what grip and tiller you need and then order a bakers dozen customs chasing the perfect bow when all you would have needed is the Samick Discovery 17” riser I have for sale in the classifieds!!!
