I was at scheels this weekend and one of the sales people said Kifaru told scheels manufacturing wasn't going to be in the USA anymore. Has anyone heard this?
if true, yikesI was at scheels this weekend and one of the sales people said Kifaru told scheels manufacturing wasn't going to be in the USA anymore. Has anyone heard this?
Did you care enough to pick up a phone and call them to ask?I was at scheels this weekend and one of the sales people said Kifaru told scheels manufacturing wasn't going to be in the USA anymore. Has anyone heard this?
Yeah with Aron leaving it seemed like something serious happened. It would go against what they’ve stood for the last couple decades. I really can’t imagine they would since they said their move to Wyoming was so they had more in house production. But.. a lot has seemed to change at Kifaru lately
So basically taking the time to cast doubt on a pack you dont own? Seems legit. SMHI do not, I went with SG but it is concerning if the pack costs 800 dollars. It could be some is going to be made in the US and some not.
I didn't read anything negative or a subjective conclusion like, "if so, then ___". He just asked a question. So basically taking the time to cast doubt on a pack you dont own? Seems legit. SMH
I own plenty from kifaru just not a pack. Sorry if you think that invalidates the concern that they are moving manufacturing out of the US. I'm sure lots of people would like to know if they were.So basically taking the time to cast doubt on a pack you dont own? Seems legit. SMH
Because the guy working the counter at Scheels is always a reputable source.Okay I called and was told that frames and most packs are still being manufactured in America with American made material. Some material is not manufactured in America and is sourced from overseas. Hats, shirts and some buckles are done completely overseas. Definitely not as concerning as I first thought but I was told frames and packs were being manufactured overseas by the scheels sales rep.
Wait, you don't get all of your information on the internet from the Scheels counter sales people?Because the guy working the counter at Scheels is always a reputable source.
He seemed like a nice guyBecause the guy working the counter at Scheels is always a reputable source.
Yeah because that’s what people do? When I heard General Motors was moving production to Mexico instead of checking on the internet I called themDid you care enough to pick up a phone and call them to ask?
