Introducing the Mathews 2026 ARC

I have 2 lift x's(29 &33) and I'm gonna go shoot one and take one of mine to shoot back to back, try and shoot them through the chrono as well for an honest comparison. I have a feeling some of the "influencers" aren't 100% honest, and if I'm being honest, the z mods intrigue me more than the arc, at least for hunting purposes.

Hey guys! Wanted to get the thread going here for the new Mathew’s Flagship. Hope you all are looking forward to the new bow out of Sparta, WI!! More info here tomorrow so stay tuned!

Happy Veteran’s Day!!

Ordered my on November 25th in kuiu Verde, super sweet bow. Draw cycle is smoother than the lift/ lift x. My lift is 31.5 draw 80# with 450 grain arrow 320 fps. At 70# 30 inch draw the arc in shot with a 355 grain arrow was hitting 306 fps. Excited to see how mine does with the 80# mods.

Did you mean a 455 gn arrow going 306 versus a 355 grain arrow? I’d expect a 355 gn arrow to be well over 330 fps.

I 'm still shooting my Mathews Avail , 24.5" draw with a 41 lb. pull. The arrow shoots at 221 fps. I can no longer pull back 50 lbs. I all but went to a crossbow, but decided to see if I can go under 50 lbs cause I think it is a 50 to 60 lb limbs . I didnt even bow hunt for a few years cause I couldnt pull back the bow. However, when I turned it out 3 1/2 turns , I was elated to be able to pull it back. It shot 4" low at 20 yds. but I didnt care. Last year at 9 yds the arrow went right through the 1 1/2 yr old buck . It stuck in the high grass and never found it . This year at 20 yds it went through the buck again but I found the arrow sticking in the grass. Would the new Lift be any better? Just wondering.

Anyone got pictures of the ARC rigs, would love some eye candy as I consider going back to Mathews from my current Hoyt AX-2

The draw is smooth. The shirts absolutely dead in the hand. It is twitchy for sure. It needs to be held tight on the back wall.

Yeah, I thought the lift X was twitchy and very sensitive backwall. Definitely makes you pull through your shot. It took me a while to comfortable with it, but I am now. I'll admit it gave me some target panic for a while.

I really enjoyed shooting the 29.5, and it’s a contender for my next bow; however, I’m not in a hurry as my Lift 33 X really checks all the boxes. I like picking up bows at the end of their prevailing year for a discount. Unless something else is on the horizon for next year’s hotness, I might have one this time next year.

keep us posted as you get more time on it.

Anyone compared a halon 32’s feel to an Arc recently? I know I’m way behind with my halon but I’m not even sure it’s worth the upgrade to me for just a little more speed.

My shop here in Illinois was cool enough to order one for me (with my specs) so it would be in on release day. I have had mine since Nov 14th or whatever drop day was. So far I really like the bow. Tuned well with minor adjustments on paper. Very quiet, and dead in the hand as well. I was coming from a Lift X and I was able to keep my bow to compare against each other for a day or two before committing.

At 75lb, 28.5 DL, and 447gr total arrow set up I am seeing 305/306 on the chrono. I probably have 4 or 500 shots through it now and 2 doe's on the ground. Very happy with the ARC 30 so far.

Really like my ARC 30.
I did swap out modules from the SWX mods to the SWX-Z mods. Draw cycle is Sweet. !!
Got a 11 Reinhart 3d target course set up on my property that gives me 22 plus different shots.
Gonna shoot A Bunch !!!!

Night and day from what I remember about the Halon. Though the Halon x was my favorite bow for a while.

But the Arc is a whole new animal. You would feel a big difference having skipped so many incrementally changed years since then.

Night and day in a good way, you think? Guess I need to just try one out, but usually if I try I buy…. lol

I think so. I took some time off of Mathews and have been shooting Hoyt the last few years. I buy new bows every year and have liked what they were doing. I actually pre-ordered the RX10 Ultra this year and wasn’t even thinking of Mathews as I haven’t really felt anything great the last couple drops.

But when I’m getting the RX set up, I decided to shoot the Arc 34. I now own two of them and sold the Hoyt. It might just be me and my taste, but it feels amazing to me.

Definitely shoot one. It may not be what you like and you’ll keep the Halon and be happy. But I’m betting it will surprise you how much change has been made.

If nothing else, it’s not a bad way to kill an hour one evening and talk hunting with some folks.
