Intermediate fly rod

Thanks for all the replies and info. This will give me a place to start. Think I’ll search eBay for some used rods and go from there.

Have fun. I came to fly fishing kicking and screaming but learned to love it. Pretty much have a fly rod in my hand every day now.
Like fine shotguns there is a difference between low end and high end equipment. I really enjoy throwing my higher end/quality rods but in all honesty I’ll catch just as many fish on our TFOS or similar category.

I consider myself a trout guide as intake so many friends out and put them on fish every spring and fall. I fish all styles of fly fishing; Wet swing, dry, euro and indicator nymphing, etc. the best rod in my opinion for all things trout fishing is the TFO BVK 10’ 4wt lined with Rio Gold 5wt and a Lamson feel of your choice.
