Appreciate the replies yall, didn’t realize how much the rod I was looking for would be. Explains why the few people I know that have these rods spent close to $1k for them (something I will not do to catch a 6” fish).
Issue with a short rod and longer cast is that I’m trying to keep as much line as possible of the water.
Stepping up to a 3wt may be my only option to still get the length I’m looking for at a price I can stomach.
