Imo you’re not going to see a loss in speed that’s been quoted here with 16” in a mid bore. Not even close.

I've been testing loads in my .358 Win Ruger Frontier the last couple of weeks. Max loads of TAC is giving me 2560 fps with 200gr and 2350 fps with 225gr.

I might be very compressed with Tac…

And using hornady brass seems a bit more capacity.
