May be late to the design input but ill add my 2 cents. Im in the boat of less is better. Keeps cost down and like its been said, adding a rail to wood is pretty easy. I would assume a qd cup would be as well. Ive never felt a master sporter stock but I think the grip/thumb position on the krg bravo is pretty great and shoots well. That grip would also be a little more esthetically pleasing. I like the large window cutout in the rear of the stock, I think it would give a distinct look. A user "trimmable" lop is a cool idea. Im not sure what the norm is but I like my length of pull around the 13" -13.5" mark. As for forend, I liked the feel of the echo I had just a tad more then I liked the bravo.

Oh, that is very nice. It gives me something to aspire to. I'm modifying a pro varmint with a similar final shape in mind. 1/2" drop,15" LOP, 1.5" trigger reach, vertical grip, 6CM. I want to shoot this prototype more before making a final design in wood.

UPDATE:

Our CAD designer has done very well for us. This is very close to final design. We are having him make a couple tweaks from what you see here, but otherwise, it’s very close.

The grip is a scanned Master Sporter grip profile. We did have him alter the area directly behind the receiver tang to allow a thumb in line with the bore, or wrapped like a traditional Master Sporter grip.

The barrel channel will be Sendero profile.

The two changes that we’re having him make are more radius on the bottom edges of the forend, and to cut the window in the butt an additional 1/4” lower. We may drop comb height a touch. We want comb above bore centerline, but not a lot. Maybe 3/16” or 1/4”.

Trigger reach is 1.5”.

Forend is supposed to be 10.5” from front action screw to tip, and can be trimmed 2”.

agree that a little more rounding of the fore end will be good, but keep some flat down there.
I've had mixed feelings about the window cutout (aesthetics mostly) from the get go, but I like the looks of this vs the rendering on page 1.

looks like there is some extra material taken out of the barrel channel as well?

cant remember if this has been discussed in the thread, but having the butt end match an existing recoil pad (tikka preferably?) would be a good move.

Curious about price point as well, but looking like it will get some of my money.

Any idea of weights? I like you kept it slightly above bore. After shooting Forms master sporter I kinda want one of those fugly duckling guns.
