Congrats on a great buck. I do have a question for the moderators. Why in the hell is it ok to highlight some units by not hiding what specific unit it is but other high point units are completely off limits. Seems like the mods have a vested interest in some units over others. That's why they are willing to let some units slide.

I'm not a moderator so take this for what its worth(nothing) but I hope rokslide can find some balance between absolutely no units named and the authenticity that comes from a post like this that names a unit and season when its absolutely a top tier unit and the experience reflects it.
I'm no fan of buring units but I also appreciate an authentic conversation/ post about a place I'll never get to experience. There's a smattering of units across the west that are so top tier its just interesting to hear about hunts on them....just my thoughts take them for what they are worth.

Any information anyone is willing to share would be greatly appreciated!

Will make it over a couple times leading up to the hunt (which starts 11/20). Any tips or areas to check out would be greatly appreciative!

Also looking at booking a hotel for the hunt (will also have a tent). Is eagle the best (closest) town to book a room in?
