Needing a new rest and curious what everyone’s opinion is. Would you rather choose a rest that mounts as the older Berger hole or the newer IMS? I’m looking at the Bowfinger Medusa or QAD R2. Was looking at the Hameska Everest as well but now it seems Hameska is dropping the COR mount.

IMS all the way for me (or Everest with the bracket). Probably a non issue, but I never liked the Berger hole concept because in my mind the rest could pivot up/down even with a set screw. Of the options you listed I’d go with the Everest; I had an r2 and feel like the upgrade to the mx2 is worth it (way tougher feeling and the micro adjust is excellent ). No experience with the bow finger.

Kinda depends on the bow.

I like being able to adjust the amount of overdraw, or lack of.

I actually only use integrated hunting rests on some bows because it reduces the amount of over draw, but you frequently need to be able to play with the amount to figure out where you need it.

Makes for a clean mount, but removes any adjustment.

Yea that’s what I was considering, I like the idea of being able to torque tune. Putting it in a Mach 33 with a pic sight I loose the ability of shifting the sight in or out. Plus honestly the cost is getting crazy on these things.

Regarding the MX2 just got done with that thing, while it was nice. The lock screw for the windage adjustment was a real PITA as it wouldn’t ever get tight enough to prevent accidental adjustment.
