Importing meat back to the US

What countries, besides Canada, is a US hunter allowed to bring home game meat from their hunt? I'm aware it is not possible from Africa, but does that go for all locations globally?

What about Greenland caribou? Red Stag from Argentina? Anywhere under any circumstances?

I’m not sure if there is a distinction between meat and fish, but I just brought back two coolers of fish from Mexico last week. Completely trouble free.

For red meat there are none that I know of that you can bring back into the US.

Yes, I knew Canada did since I’ve done it. The op said besides Canada. However, I didn’t know NZ did so thanks for letting me know about that one.

I have brought back meat from NZ the past two years with zero trouble at all.
