I'm now sold on bino's on a tripod, which bino's though?

I like the weight (and reviews) of the Maven 11x45’s, but don’t see a whole lot of potential gains over my 10x42’s Gold Rings- I think I would see more of an improvement with a 12x50-ish glass

I have some Leica Duovid 10-15s that I use when I “need” the 15s. That is really rare.

I have used a ton of binos over the years. I have found pretty much no situation where the 10x42 is not a good choice. I have chased and used the best Leica/Zeiss/Swarovski and over time have found I like the Swarovski best. The Swarovision ELs to be specific.

Seasons are over so why not save up a few more $$$ and up your budget and watch for deals on the Alphas?

One Bino I wish I never got rid of was a late 90s Leica Trinovid 10x42. I bet you could find some of those on EBay and be quie pleases.
