If you were going to rebarrel a 300 win mag Tikka, which cartridge?

So I have 223, 6.5cm, and 300 win mag Tikka superlites. The 300 win mag is cool and is the "if I ever need it" rifle, but I don't really know if it adds any value to my hunting arsenal and is not fun to shoot at the range. Honestly the 223 and 6.5 do everything I'll ever need, but I have the gun and I like to tinker.

In my head, next year I get a new barrel (factory profile) but in something more fun to shoot. I keep going around in circles between 6, 6.5, and 7 PRC, 7SAUM, or even 22 or 6 UM. I don't want to change much of the rifle because I would like to be able to screw back on the 300 win mag barrel as I please.

I'm curious of what magnum bolt face cartridge the people of Rokslide would choose and why.

I swapped mine to a 6.5 PRC.

You already have a 6.5CM so a 6.5 PRC would over lap a bit. I'd personally go with the 7 PRC in a 20 or 22 inch barrel which at my hunt elevation will maintain 1800 fps with a 180 ELDM past 1000 yards.

6prc if I was in your boat. 6UM would also be a strong contender since I believe brass and dies are supposed to be sorted out by next year.

If you reload and the brass is more available I would do a 6UM or a 6.5/7PRC as brass is available now but you need to resize them.
