If you remember doing this…….

Nope! :ROFLMAO: I loved hearing that thing chunk a chunk and my mom constantly told me to knock it off cause I was gonna wear it out. Channel surfing in it's infancy :p
Haha probably did wear it out! I never was around one of them. I remember growing up and both sets of my grand parents only had black and white. One set died watching black and white one now has flat screens.

I’m surprised no rotary phones in this picture. My wife has never used one but we grew up I completely different homes. My grand parents only spoke German in the house until 2000.

Pretty sure my grandpa use to tell me stories of him having to go kill those for supper every night if they wanted to eat. Of course they had to do it after walking to school up hill both ways, wiping their ass with pinecones and flossing with pine needles.

I once wiped my ass with a chunk of crusted snow I broke off a snowbank on a January archery mule deer hunt. Does that count?

I used those types of stands before harnesses were cool. One frosty morning on a smooth bark beech tree I suddenly dropped about 3 feet down with my knees ending up at my forehead. Scared the bejebeers out of me.
Mine slipped about 6ft when I was wearing a T-shirt and I was hugging the tree. Took the skin off both my arms and my chest. I threw it away that day.

Good, but none of this rises to seeing the confusion brought about by encountering a vehicle with a manual transmission-that’s also a three on the column.
Oh three on the tree. I would like to see if I could still drive one of those. Been a long time since I have.

And high beam switch on the floor stomp.

So backwards of today.

I really miss bench seats too.

Whoever did away with those was clearly a looser and didn't have a girlfriend.

My first car was a 1967 International Scout 4 banger with 4 on the floor. The first thing I added was an AM-8 track. Was a challenge driving in the rain due to the vacuum powered windshield wipers

I was born in 1990. My first truck was a hunter green and tan ford bronco with a short bed and 3 on the tree. I sure loved that bench seat back in high school. Some of the girls didn’t love that truck, but their moms and grandmas sure did.

I remember when you had to Ask Jeeves before google. If you want to throw a wrench in someone’s day under 25, just tell them to ask Jeeves.
