Random musing on upgrades, etc and got to thinking if I had $1000 right now what would I buy to upgrade/outfit better to enable more time spent in the Backcountry? Curious what route others would go. Not looking for advice just having fun. Me I'm leaning towards tipi tent.

If quality boots and pack a hot tent setup is sweet along with an aplus bag And pad💯 Quality sleep goes a long ways to success and enjoyment

Thunderbeast ultra7 or 5. I have those so I’d probably buy a dominus.

Back country if you don’t have a hot tent w a SO cub or med stove best place to start.

Followed by a SG 0*

I’m still stumped on the pad thing. I think they all suck. I’ve yet to find one where I can say “they figured it out”

I might spend $1000 on the mythical perfect pad!
