Considering the “would you buy” thread for the Rokscope. As we wait for its release is there a requirement you would forgo if it meets the minimum standard of reliability to hold zero?

What are you willing to compromise on and in what order ?

Dimensions - does it fit the mag range and size you want?

Reticle- Mil or usable

Price - sub $1000

Illumination- yes or no

Glass- has to be mid range

Weight - 20 oz or less

Zero stop - yes or no

Dialing turrets - yes or no

What requirement is the first to be compromised if it meets the hold zero standard?

I would sacrifice Illumination(never use it) then weight

I can always build a rifle lighter if need be. I’ve had two rifle scope flat fail on hunts that took for “weight”. I would use a hole saw on the right stock before I’d give up reliably going forward

Illumination is pointless on this scope, if the reticle is as good as they say.

It needs to weigh No More than the NF NXS 2.5-10. That scope is pretty much ideal, besides for the reticle options.
