If you could move anywhere?

I really love living in Idaho, we live in meridian, I think it’d be perfect if we lived 25 miles out of town on a little bit of dirt that backed up to blm..

I moved from California 10 years ago and now live in Northern Idaho. It’s been fun but to many people moving here. It’s to expensive and the snow is getting old. I need 365 days of ground so I can stay active all year round.
But honestly, it’s to expensive to move anywhere anymore. So, Idaho for now and deal with the snow 6-7 months out of the year.

This is the real American dream.

I'm sure others feel the same.

I retired once already, at 46 yoa, and now run a business. I doubt I ever leave this place. But, there are places like I described (near) where I live currently. It is very conservative locally, and my entire family lives within 10 minutes of me. I won't leave as things are now.

I own two homes currently. The paid off home will be sold when kids are done with college. Then, my primary home will be paid off. I can see myself buying acreage within an hour of me specifically for hunting that backs up to usfs.
