Yeah but only for the west side i believe. East side is all draw even for archery

Yes, you can buy a general season east side spike only tag (rifle) if not successful in the draw.

There are General Tags across the State and Yes, you can buy one if you don't draw. While there are still some General OTC eastside archery, it's a very limited number of units and tend to be less traditional elk habitat. Most Eastside General Rifle tags are Spike only
