Ideas for range rifle???

Are you a supressed shooter? If so i have no issues hearing impacts at 700 yards in a 10 mph wind with a 223. 223 is definitely a fun gun, awesome range trainer. Ill never sell mine now. Best rifle decision i have ever made
No but this will get one. However, I am shooting at a range and most don’t shoot suppressed. In fact, at times I will run both ear plugs and Walkers over the top of those because it is so loud.

Id like to get another gun!
Looking for a fun range weapon to use out to 600 yards (max range where I can shoot). I want to spot impacts. Would like to keep total weight between 9-10# so it can cross over to hunting if necessary but mainly a bench gun.
-Looking at 6 or 6.5 creed or maybe a 223???
(I’m leaning 6 creed)
-Trying to keep price under/around $2k for rifle.
-bolt action
I can get a good deal on a SA Waypoint 2020 in 6 creed or 6.5 creed. SA is also giving away XD Elite 10mm with purchase right now. Also thinking about Seekins Havoc PH3. Or build off a Tikka???
If a Tikka build, what stock would you run? I probably wouldn’t rebarrel unless absolutely necessary.
As far as scopes I’m thinking something around a 5-25x50.
-Trijicon Tenmile, Zeiss V4, or Vortex Viper HD
Any thoughts or experiences using any of my listed rifles/scopes appreciated!

6 CM 20” Seekins ph3
I can’t see impacts until I get to 400, have to get back on target.

Maybe me, but a little weight in the forearm may fix that.

223 Tikka in a krg bravo would be my choice. ammo is so cheap for training
Our range goes out to 500. I have a Tikka Super Varmint in 6.5 Creedmoor that’s a fine rifle and that’s 95% a range rifle. 90% of the time, though, I shoot my .223 rifles. One is a Savage Model 12 LRPV with a Shilen 7 twist bull barrel, the other a Savage 110 action in an MDT field stock with a Shilen barrel identical to the LRPV barrel. Shoot at 2” -4” gongs at 500 and so much fun ( and a challenge! )!

If you hand load why not something like a 6gt? Great barrel life and most of the 6 creed performance. If hand loading is not an option it's hard to not consider a 6.5 creed, great barrel life, price for ammo is one of the cheapest with tons of options. It's a proven accurate cartridge so it's easy to hate on. I consider a cartridge with 2k + barrel life to be in the range/training category, under that and you might be looking at things differently. At the end of the day barrels are consumables, shoot and enjoy the gun.

I’m a 6gt fan. I’m loving the minimal brass trimming!! Think I trimmed twice in the 14 firings on my current brass, no annealing or cleaning, both times only needed 2-3 though trimmed off. Just rolling over 1500 rounds in the rifle and no signs of slowing down (tikka CTR and IBI barrel in a x Rey stock).

We put in alot of time on our 1000 yard range, the .22 cal’s work great when there is no wind, add wind and they all wish they had 6mm or 6.5’s.

My 6gt has become almost boring to shoot. Awesome brass life with Alpha brass, easiest load work I've ever done to shoot 1/2 moa (once a gun shoots about half I stop messing with it). You can pretty much throw 33 grains of varget or n150 with any 105 and it just shoots. I love 22 cals as well, have a Ackley being chambered as we speak. The 6gt overall is so easy it's slightly boring and I wouldn't think twice about using it for hunting.
