What is the top round pieces and t-bolts made out of?

The stakes appear to be standard snow stakes one would use in their driveway?

Its 1/2” pvc water pipe, with barb fittings, from the hardware store. Photo below if that doesnt make sense. Yes, just rattle-canned orange driveway stakes.

These blinds seem to work great at first light but it can be hard to get ducks later in the day when they can see into the top of your hide. I just add more brush throughout the morning focusing on the top so it’s almost too tight to stand up and shoot..

I’m already scheming a lid, maybe with 2 sides, that can almost serve as pop-open “doors”. Think I can accomplish this pretty simply. Tbd. But yes, this seems a likely problem.

We hunt a NWR and sometimes the birds shy off anything above 2-3 ft high.

I saw the same, and anticipate needing some sort of layout-type solution.
