Idaho Unit 66 Rifle 2020

I am getting excited for my trip this Fall. We are hunting unit 66. Does anyone have experience in this unit? Would it benefit us to take a raft to cross larger water to get away from other hunters?

You will find it difficult to get any info on an OTC unit. Everyone is trying to accomplish what you are doing and are very hesitant to share, especially with a new guy. Lots of people have put in many years and a lot of time to find what you are looking for.

Even if you do get info I wouldnt necessarily trust it. Lots of people out there willing to give you info that leads you away from them.

The water you cross in a raft in 66 has roads on the other side of it... and horse trails.

I looked into hunting that unit one time and my advice would be to go steep and deep base on the amount of people and no cap on the zone
