Looks like I'll be going to Idaho to buy the tag in person next year.

This is intriguing and I'd be willing to drive over for a tag. I wonder how that works though? Would you just the OTC tag you want (as long as it's not sold out already) and skip the bullshit online line?

I am in Spokane WA area and just checked with Sportsman Warehouse. Yes they do sell Idaho license, but the clerk told me it was at least a 2 hour wait time even with their vendor computer system, due to the volume of transactions at the Idaho end of the process. The phone line seems to be going faster than the automated computer line. I hope I don't get kicked off.

I started in the 600s, I am now 236 in 1hr and 45 min. I moved up the line quick at first (likely people hanging up). Now the line is moving very slow (likely people making purchases)

i did the same. roughly 6-700 people an hour. should be able to come back to work tomorrow at 7am and have 6 more hours to go

Yes, the waiting room will show when DAV tags, tags in each zone, etc have sold out.

Well it did the last few years. This year looks like nothing much is working. My number hasnt moved in 15-20 minutes.
